    I'll let you know when it arrives. Purchased with the ebay fit guarantee - so worst case it's returned for a refund. I don't want, or need, a locking one. Who the hell is syphoning gas these days anyway, especially from motorcycle.

    OK, thanks. Ill give it a shot. I purchased an aftermarket cap with no lock. Probably use that moving forward. No rear brake softening yet, but aware of the issue.

    Yeah. A monza style cover, with a key from the fob to unlock the actual cap. Mine unlocks and locks, just does not unthread when you twist it after unlocking. Brand new, didnt even to give it a first fill up...so much for my furst weekend ride :) Honestly do we still need locking gas caps in 2024?

    Sorry for reviving an old thread. Was there an easy fix for this? Had my R3R a few days, first time I went to fuel up, cap just wont unthread. Sounds like the same issue you had.
