    Bugger this....

Nice work on Wilbers suspension. I replaced my shocks and forks with RaceTech G3S custom equipment due to a local dealer being nearby my home. It behaves like a heavy sports bike, whilst giving comfort to all my rebuilt/replaced human bits. The inventment in upgraded suspension (regardless...

    Nasty noise at rear end

Yep, purchased new in Jan this year, so still good to go with warranty. The Triumph dealer had an intial look at it (prior to a warranty booking early Jan), and was baffled. I mentioned that I'd do some research and suggested he do the same with more experienced Triumph techs.

    Nasty noise at rear end

Have a heavy 'clicking/clunking' noise from rear wheel or final drive as wheel rotates. Most noticable when in first gear at low speed without clutch engaged. Changed final drive oil (tested with no metal found), checked bearings and brakes, with all appearing in order. Anyone have any...

Hi Mittzy, I notice your bike has had the Neville Lush treatement. I'm thinking of getting a better tune with a Power Commander rather than the downloaded ;'TuneBoy' I currently have. However, reading some posts suggests a trip to Adelaide to Neville Lush with pistons and camshafts may be...

Money no object: Best Front and Rear Suspension and Tires for 2008 Rocket

The cost of the suspension snuck up on me (made me feel a little unwell for a few weeks), but thought it's money well spent to make the beast handle as good as possible, and it should be a very long term bike. That was my big splurge this year. Sad to hear about the riders. Also have sad...

Money no object: Best Front and Rear Suspension and Tires for 2008 Rocket

The cost of the rear was about $3,700 for the two shocks custom measured, made and fitted. I've got the dual piggy back G3-S version. The forks were about another$1,800. All in Aussie dollars. The RaceTech agent in Sydney 'Shock Treatement', measured up all the specs (including my weight and...

Hiya Boog,,,, Great tag of 'travelling story teller' and occupation of 'two wheel philosopher' ... I'm sure you'd be an interesting character to have a few beers with. Hope all is well for you and you can get plenty of time on road before winter reduces the comfort levels.

Money no object: Best Front and Rear Suspension and Tires for 2008 Rocket

Hi all,, I'm early in the process of customising my R3 which I bought this year, but one of the first things I've done is to upgrade the suspension. Without knowing about this site, my local research pointed me into RaceTech G3-S custom shocks and forks. Amazing results, heaps of adjustments...

Thanks Stolly, I noticed in the photo of your bike you've got the cowling below the radiator. I'm keen to get one for the looks as well as the protection it may provide from damage to rubber tubes and sensitive parts. Any advice on sourcing?

    Greetings from new member

Hi all. This is my first note on my first on-line bike forum. Well done to you all on the creation of a great looking platform. It's also cool to see a section of the Aussies.....yep, I'm another, living in Sydney. I've been riding for around 35 years and had almost all brands and styles of...
