    Thanks for the reply. Water going inside won't cause any damage ? So there's no wiring underneath and is there a partition that keeps water from reaching the area where battery ?

    I used a similar bag for a 1000 km round trip. And it was a big bag. Total 72 ltrs. I have the R so it doesn't have the sissy bar. I tied the bags using the straps that it comes with. The front straps were tied to the footpegs and the rear strap was looped under the pillion seat. And it worked...
