Was given a 69 Triumph TR6R mono when I was in high school. I rode with a group of guys with ****** rockets and always brought up the rear. Drove past this Rocket III for sale on my way to work everyday for months and finally stopped in to take it for a spin. Going from 650 cc to 2300 cc was a little bit of a jump! I was in love and ended up buying it. Bike had a faulty TPS, that made stops interesting on the ride home! While I was getting the TPS fixed, I had K&N intake installed, eliminated the power commander and had a custom tune loaded for the mods. Have never rode a more powerful, while comfortable bike. I joined R3owners because my speedometer died last year and Triumph doesnt make them anymore. Dealerships are zero help with any advice at all for aftermarket options. I am appalled at the lack of options and at how many times I’ve been told, “sorry, you have no options. Good luck.” Hoping this community will provide some insight into what to do.
