    I know what you're talking about, I adusted the connection holes with a file when I fitted TOR's to my 2011 roadster. I don't think it was as wide a gap as yours, more like 8mm.

    I used loctite 510 gasket eliminator on the cylinder head side before installing the rubber gasket and cam cover a couple of years ago. No leaks since, even after lifting the cover to do cam clearance checks.

    Starter Click, Rocking to move the crank works.

    I second Fred's solution. My Roadster gave me grief for months with low voltage starting problems that can be identified by the clicking start solenoid. I fitted the additional relay to connect the starter 2 years ago as described by Fred and the bike has started easily ever since.
