Can you sell the crossover pipe separately. I'm in MA and can easily pick it up. BTW who made the crossover, and if I am not mistaken the CATs are in the silencers if this is all for touring. Thanks!

    Hello All..... Handling Help Please...

I Welcome! I came from a similar riding history, but after getting rods in my neck decided on a tourer. My initial response to the bike was just like yours. It’s not the bike, but rather your muscle memory. I liken sport/trail bike maneuvering to riding with your shoulders, while the cruiser...

    Valve inspection interval and findings

Hey Ralsmith, Just a quick thank you for the advice on the shim bucket hold down tool. Carved one out of an old hinge and Works great! I could get through all the shims in less than 30 min. But that was after a day wading through all the wires, and a week overcoming a brainfart of a wrong...

    Hermy's

I haven't followed up on your helpful guidance with the valve adjustment a couple of weeks ago because I'm still waiting on parts for standard stuff, and yes Alex is the guy. Personally, I think they are too busy and he can't handle it. Maybe I use you as my Broker:). BTW, the tool design you...

    Hermy's

Hermys used to be my go to for parts for the reasons mentioned above. The owner was always very helpful and knowledgable. Apparently they've gotten too big for that and now there is a kid in parts that lies and is responsible for nothing. No order confirmation, no ownership. It seems they have...

    Valve inspection interval and findings

I got the message Ralsmith, and appreciate the effort. So to summarize, this fork, or claw of a tool is basically holding down the outer edge of two adjacent buckets? I guess this is why you use the centered cam to depress the bucket and the tool just to hold on the outer edge. This I can see...

Sonny, You're right. I just can't see my way through the timing issue. One man's ceiling is another man's floor.

    Valve inspection interval and findings

Please ignore the first question as I am a little slow two hours into happy hour. I now see that it is two pieces of metal. Center the 1/4" hole on the 1/2" bend?

    Valve inspection interval and findings

Question on the drawing: You mention .060" stock. This is roughly 1/16" thick, but at the bottom of the page you call out 1/8" thick steel. Which is it? Is the 1/4" hole centered on the 1/2" bend? Thanks!

Many thanks! These little devils in the details make all the difference in spending hours vs. days. I'll get to carving out the tool and hopefully be ready for the shims when they arrive later this week.

Thanks, but might you have a link? Seems to be lots of R-3 turbo videos, but mainly for cars.

Hey Sonny, Yes, the thread helped, but I still haven't been able to determine which tool you use for timing adjustment. Can you share details? Thanks, Steve
