    For Sale What is my 2007 Triumph rocket 3 classic tourer worth. It’s in great condition cosmetically and mechanically and only has 10,000 miles on it.

    I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but .. probably not $6k. As always, the right buyer may be willing to fork over a bit more.

    Have you considered wrapping the headers to see if that helps? Might be a less expensive / less permanent solution than stripping the chrome.

    Not so interested in parts. As for travel, well, the going rate is I believe 55 cents/ mile plus a hotel room, 'cause that's about 722 miles, so I could probably round that up to about $1,000 over bike's price. Next question I reckon is what is the bike's price outside the parts package?

    Some bikes can pull it off. But I frankly can't imagine it looking good on a Rocket. If you're set on coloring them, though, also look into hydrocoating. You can get a lot more color (and even color pattern) options through that process.

    If I was really worried about gas mileage, I'd have a CBR 250 or some such. It's an added expense that is good to know going in.
