    i must be a true wrencher... the ONLY bike i have that runs is the ex500 ninja and NONE of the other bikes can actually move, nighthawk has no front end, F7 still just a frame, rocket locked up... FFS i hate moving but this is worth it. My mom and dad are moving from MD to CO to live with us.

    So i was unable to get the rocket fixed in time to move, we just got a home and i think i have to put the rear wheel on a dolly roller or something. the trans is LOCKED UP so this is GOING TO BE FUN... NOT

    i have to disagree to the point that we have to define the term "sits for a long period of time" I do the same for my classic car and for the motorcycles for winter but both fuels have issues sitting for a long time. nothing wrong with ethanol fuels, and the corrosion you speak of actually comes...

    Maybe i would redefine what i meant to say as i am riding as aggressive as i want to and by no means am easy on the rocket but i could ride harder but chose not to 80% of the time.

    I Mean I ride hard... But I'm not popping wheelies 412s and I'm 280lbs.. no issues but maybe I could have a better ride.. idk.. all my motorcycles are sketchy and I'm used to 1980s soft mad cow suspension so maybe I'm just happy with the rocket and the 412s. I ride hard enough to eat tireswith...

    Motorcycle shocks can be adjusted for preload. Rotate them on a step built in to load the spring. It's just an adjustment or a "tick" up..

    Not really but you can if you want. Imo stick with the OEM style filter and avoid anything oiled and more flowing like K&N or equivalent if you want to keep your engine oil as clean as possible also MAF gets dirty over time. But hey I'm sure the air filters add 10hp to your butt dyno....
