    Been largely absent here for quite some time…my ‘07 went underwater in 2020 when the RV park I was staying in got flooded out. Was able to bring the bike back from the dead, the oil was changed multiple times, starter replaced, clutch and brake cables replaced and radiator ended up needing...

    Flooded...

    Read it...just been busy...the RV park flooded again last night...got my hands full and have yet to hear from the shop...will see if 8 can maximize payout for damage and still keep the bike if possible for later project.

    The mechanic at the dealership did not even seem interested in working on it...most likely a total loss, but this bike has a lot of sentimental value to me...Plus I trusted it...it never gave me any major problems or left me high and dry. I hate to see it become a heap of scrap metal. Already...

    Just got back from the local Triumph dealer where I get it serviced...they are thinking it is totaled.

    Thanks for the advice, I went ahead and filed a claim and will be taking it to be fully serviced today.

    just surveyed the damage...you can see where the waterline is...the bike could have been underwater for up to an hour, probably not any longer than that. I need to clean off all the crap and check to see if any water is in the oil. Bike was due for service anyways, so will likely haul it in...

    My temporary home is a motor home...I think perhaps it is high enough that no water damage was sustained, but will not know for sure until tomorrow. The bike however, is more of a concern because it was parked on lower ground and almost certainly was at least partly underwater.
