    Adventure to a 2023 2.5 Liter Rocket 3 GT

My record for wheelies on one run is three.😄😄 I surf the front wheel on a good day but you need to have the bike pointed straight down the middle and get your weight balanced. I have trouble finding the tach in first and second gear and rely on sound for shifting. Regardless of motorcycles...

    Adventure to a 2023 2.5 Liter Rocket 3 GT

Your 60 foot on your 10.9 ET indicates to me you have real good idea about launching a motorcycle. A 1.75 60 foot time would move your ET down significantly. Reduction in the 60 foot time is a huge mulipler for cutting the ET down the track. I'm not familiar with your mods but I suspect your...

    Adventure to a 2023 2.5 Liter Rocket 3 GT

I'll put a the runs on the Flat Cap Cafe Racer website in a couple weeks I thought the first run the the stock tune was a safe one at 12.472. The 2nd run with the new tune at 12.113 was significantly better. I think the 3rd run at 11.802 was about as good as you should expect. Given Saturday...

    New Rocket reliability

It might take a few weeks to get a riding video out but there is the Texas trip video to pickup the bike coming up on April 21st. I'll link it to this thread when I release it.

Rocket 3 vs the salt flats why it shouldn't have worked

I think Rob would have to contact them to if they (in England) would be interested enough to test it. My follow on question what pressure was the wheel exposed to? How much force to the gas tank get to break the welds off and throw it off the bike? I know it was violent enough on me😁😁

Rocket 3 vs the salt flats why it shouldn't have worked

It is great to hear your still upright and I look forward to a ride with Northwest crew again! The divots were sure rough with traction and probably helped get the bike wobbling, also my right hand. Initially I thought the divots might collapsed the rear wheel but now I'm thinking the bike...

Rocket 3 vs the salt flats why it shouldn't have worked

Thanks for sticking with me on all the trips to the salt and especially after the crash. Jeff was a brave fella offering up his bike after I smashed up the other Rocket 3.

Rocket 3 vs the salt flats why it shouldn't have worked

Judging from video from the drone the bike pencil flipped several times. Hard enough tp break the welds holding the gas tank and pulverized the rest of the bike. Did Rob ever have the hardness checked Bill?

The front wheel was fine The rear wheel took the brunt of the crash

Kevin I'm not sure what you found in my comment that was so funny?

Rocket 3 vs the salt flats why it shouldn't have worked

Of course you can go. You have run your Rocket 3 at top speed many many times already and know how fast it is, why would you want to take anymore risks? I'm not sure what you mean can you bring your Rocket 3 too? Is your intention to pair them up together in a run? If so I'd say that wouldn't...

Rocket 3 vs the salt flats why it shouldn't have worked

Most everyone watching here is probably a Rocket 3 fan. After running down the salt flats a few times I'm a fan too. However, looking at it realistically in this video I'm a little surprised how well it did because there were some high hurdles this bike had to clear.

    Top speed issue

One of these days we need to try it again in Mexico with a GPS on a two mile run, just to know what the difference on pavement is per a GPS.
