    Welcome! What I love is that I am apparently the only Rocket owner in and around Memphis, TN. I've owned mine for 6 years and I've never seen another Triumph on the road in Tennessee, with the exception of a bike on a trailer going down the interstate.

    OK, for you guys that have take the plunge, how does that much more horsepower affect taking tight twisters and cutbacks on mountain roads? Does the readend slip or get away from you, when you accelerate to pull through the curves or initiating the inclines?

    I'm guessing, from Paul's comment, that he's been married a long time! That's remarkable gas mileage. I'm leaning toward getting the 240 package. There's a little voice in my head saying, "What the hell are you doing!" But, the rest of us don't really pay that much attention to him!

    I'm curious. Just crusing at 60-70 mph on a long, cross-country run, what effects would the 240, or 265 hp packages have on gas mileage? Some of those gas pumps out west pretty far apart.

    Excellent! I rode about 150 miles in western Kentucky this past weekend. Maybe I'll catch you on the road. I've yet to see a R3 in Memphis, or west TN, except for one going through on a trailer. I've had mine since 2012. But, that's why I don't ride a Harley or a Ford Mustang!
