    Went a d looked more closely in the leisure of my own garage.....it looks like there is one pipe coming out of each side of the cat box (I don't know if that's standard or not) - and then a DC sports tip attached to each side - with a heat shield just forward of that. Kind of interesting.

    I am not sure exactly what kind of exhaust it is. (I asked the same thing). what is was told is, the previous owner wanted the symmetry of one pipe on each side, so, he had these shorter pipes put on which make the right side 2 into 1 - and the pipes are unbaffled, but he left the cat box...
