    general common breakdown/breakin issues question

Teething and Decel Problems Gone When I bought my Rocket it was hard to change gear and find neutral, there was bad popping on decel with cat bypass and TORS, and the fuel gauge was not working - potentially the worst problem but luckily I twigged that it was doing to many mpgs even for running...

    Uneven Front Tyre (Tire) Wear

Front tyre wear Have to replace my front tyre at 5.5k with the wear you describe. Yup, reckon its roundabouts and camber, I have had the same with car tyres but you can change them round. Gnasher

    Poll... Rear Tire Mileage

Hmmph Bah Seems that surprisingly the rear is not the proble. Just replaced the rear at just under 5k, that's fine, about the same on most bikes I've ever had. BUT - Just noticed the front is bolloxed at 5.5k, tread gone on RHS. Usually get 2x rear miles on every front. Too many roundabouts...

    Hagon vs Progressive

In Love Again Just come back from nearly 60 miles on the bumpiest Forest roads I know of with a smile on my face, :D the difference is incredible. Before I fittted the Progressives less than 10 miles left me stressed, hurting, pissed off and thinking I'd made a very expensive mistake. Now it...

    Hagon vs Progressive

Progressives won out. Thanks for the replies guys. Went for the Progressives from Bikerevival cos - i, Prog Spring Rate. ii, Thought I'd try the auto damping. iii Just get the impression they may be a bit tougher. iv, Lifetime 'limited' guarantee, although it may be difficult if it ever comes...

    Hagon vs Progressive

Hi All After 2 weeks and 800 miles the rock(et) hard suspension has bolloxed my back :? so an urgent replacement is in order. At 10 stone wet I hardly compress the originals when I jumpon the bike. Reading previous posts the choice in the UK seems to be Hagon vs Progressive, has anyone any...
