US penner tune for 2022 r3 GT

As long as you follow the TuneECU instructions, and DO NOT reset adaptions, you will be fine. If you do the reset, you risk throwing both the CC code and the crank angle sensor engine code. Both easily fixable (TuneECU has writeups for both), but a minor PITA you don't need.

Another Exhaust Thread (Vandemon Headers) with Installation Pictures

Do you have the Penner tune loaded? I found that Triumph would flash the ECU at each service, and a couple of services ago I had that crap fueling too, way lumpier than it used to be. Reloading the Penner tune smoothed it out a lot compared to whatever Triumph seems to be doing to their stock...

    Hilarious Yammie Noob

I sent this to my brother-in-law last night as he has a Diavel - we both copped a serve!

Adding Apple Car Play to my R3

Nice work. I have considered it, but Waze alerts from my phone in my pocket via the the Rocket BT module to my Sena in my helmet is working ok, so not unhappy currently. Do wish the Triumph app let you use other mapping apps aside from their own fairly dodgy implementation, but no such luck yet.

Upset with Corbin, paid, yet received nothing in 12 weeks

I would've called my credit card company (or PayPal if you used them) and filed a dispute weeks ago!

    Heat Shielding Experiment

@atomsplitter while I never really had major heat issues with the stock heat shields (I think the engine block/head area above the rear pipe gives me more heat) I think the CarbonFBR carbon shields with foil backing lowered it more. Maybe give them a shot. CarbonFBR Edit: just noticed yours is...

    ODB port 2020 Rocket 3

That’s the one, it’s the same OBD port style that cars have, so your OBD reader plugs straight in (see my pics from page 1) with no adapter cable.

    ODB port 2020 Rocket 3

Pretty sure if OP still has an issue 3 years later, dude got bigger problems! 🙃

    OK I'm Impatient SOB

Yeah, it certainly wakes up the beast! You shouldn't need to reset the adaptions, did it not throw the crank sensor error code when you did?

Help stuck on tuine ecu remap file

31023 is still an R map, but for another market. No idea why someone would load what I am assuming is a stock map from another region here, but so be it. Yes, Penner's 31018 map will load on yours and you're good to go.

How long before a tune to the Storm will be available?

As the ECU is a learning ECU, as long as the O2 sensor is in place, it will adapt to the pipe. That being said, the Storm has both a 2nd sensor (for Euro 5+ compliance), and a locked ECU, so if the Werkes does NOT accommodate the 2nd sensor they should probably not advertise it as suitable for...

Does any Rocket version have a black frame for the TFT display?

Just the TFC. But like any TFC-specific parts, you'd probably have to give Triumph a TFC VIN to order it...

    Tuneecu post settings

Yes, you just need to load the tune, power off, and go for a ride. The 15 minute idle is just letting the ECU "auto adapt", but doesn't do anything more for you than riding it does, as the ECU is an auto-adapting ECU anyway. Now, if you manually reset the adaptions, neither the 15 minute idle...

    Wheel Tools

Was curious so went down to the garage to check with the Torx sockets I have. A T60 is what you want. Handy that most of the socket sets you get online go up to T60, so it's not hard to find.

Thoughts on this new way of adding storage?

I think it's a good option if you need more than the tailpack + a backpack can carry (how I spend a few days away), but like others have said, I'd PPF the painted tailsection to protect the paint, and I'd never waste time mounting it on the rack as it has 3kg weight limit. Like Jagster said...
