    None of the aftermarket headers will take the stock shields. I think if you want custom headers that also have heat shields you are limited to Vandemon: Manifold.     Must be how you place your foot. I've not had silver on the boot from the shield, but I have occassionally had black sole marks on the shield from the boot.
