Hey guy's.... what do you think....???

I don't know your size or skills Ray, bu t I went from a Mean Streak to the Rocket 3 as my daily rider. I'm 5'7" and 170#, not flat footed at a stop but well a balanced bike. Easy to hold. Rides like a much smaller standard bike and performs like one too. Easy to ride 400+ miles a day for...

    Next Generation Key-Less System

I'm late to the party, but was fortunate to be a part of the testing. Ken was absoutely remarkable in his commitment and service. After a few hurdles, the system has been working flawlessly. I love just walking up to the bike and taking off. The system activates at about 6-8ft and deactivates at...

    Harley 120R Verse Rocket X

LOL! Yeah I let a buddy of mine who rides a Street Glide take my rocket for a ride. Any time we're out now and someone asks about the rock his one word reply is "Fast".

    Roadster Front Tire Wear

I ride the tail of the dragon, the blue ridge pkwy, the cherohala and the like. Some of the twistiest roads in North America. In 30+ years of riding and road racing I've only ever known cupping to be the result of under inflation. That said I could be totally wrong about the Metzlers this is...

    Roadster Front Tire Wear

Wow, that is amazing!!!!!:eek: I just put over 1200miles on my Metzers in 4days last month, and have put well over 3000miles on them since I bought the bike in July and NO SIGN OF CUPPING what so ever.

    Roadster Front Tire Wear

Is that recommendation by Triumph or Metzler? I'm inclined to give more creedence to recommendations by the tire mfr then the bike mfr.

    Roadster Front Tire Wear

My experience with front tire cupping is with Dunlop, Avon Ultra II and Michelin Pilot Road tires on my Marauder so I can not speak for the Rocket III in particular. I've experienced cupping with all three mfr's tires typically being noticeable on the Avons and Michelins around 7000miles and...

    Rocket Crashed and Totaled

Hunter S. Thompson was a pickle short of a barrel, a one legged duck circling a crocodile. He lived 70 miles down the road and I have friends who knew him personally. He may have fried his mind, but he is dead and in dying was a long way from skidding in sideways in a cloud of smoke (other than...

    Stable Mate for the R3

Thier home is about an 8hr ride from me. I may need to do some hands on research.

    Stable Mate for the R3

I like it! Can see the supercharged version in my garage one day. Although any would be fun to own and ride, and the price is not really beyond reasonable. Edit: I see comments like the Aprilla or the R3R with carpenter system killing it. I gotta say I disagree, let talk out of the box...

Perspective and how the R3 distorts it

Heh, heh, heh! Fun isn't it. I destroyed a ZX11 a few weeks ago. Last week I had a coworker try to roll on in a Lexus from a rolling 60mph, down shift to 3rd twist the wrist and when I hit 5th gear and looked back his headligbts were disappearing and I was rolling up on 130mph.
