Help!! What is happening? I have only 345km on her.

The mechanics checked the sensor gap on the front wheel and added spacers; the fault came back (I think). Reading though their fault finding log wasn’t intuitive and a little frustrating to follow, being a technician myself, I questioned their method, but hey they know bikes. They eventually...

Help!! What is happening? I have only 345km on her.

Thanks. Very interesting to know how it works. Having an extended warranty im thinking that was definitely worth the money, and they advised that having the logs and observing the intermittent failure and recording, It’s covered for life as it occurred while under warranty.

Help!! What is happening? I have only 345km on her.

The last maybe 6 months I’ve been getting the TC and ABS warning. It’s intermittent, coming on and off after a few rides. When I Took it to the dealership originally, where the warning disappeared before getting there, the failure wasn’t logged and I was charged for the privilege of them...

    Battery Draining Issue

I was having a battery draining issue with my car and found there was a high resistance between the primary and secondary winding of the starter coil where it should be open circuit. The primary coil was connected directly to the battery +ve terminal, so the voltage was leaking between the...

Adding Mid-pegs w/out Controls to GT

My friend and took out and test drove both the GT and R for this exact reason. We are both in our mid 50’s and have lower back issues and both ride sports tourers. We both liked the GT’s swept back handle bars and slightly lower seating position, which has you sitting more up right, but it was...

the evotech tail tidy, how difficult is it to fit?

I just watched the video and must apologise, there is a plate that goes under the plastic guard which I forgot about. Sorry for the confusion

the evotech tail tidy, how difficult is it to fit?

The pictures are ok, but it does take a bit to originate your brain to understand a few of them. Careful when installing the screws into the standoffs; I cross threaded one of the stainless steel screws that holds a plate against the stand-off, which resulted in me needing to remove them all...

    New Tail Tidy

I installed the Triumph Scrolling LED Indicators listed against the bike. They look really good, great finish, slimline, very bright and just work. Ordered them with the bike as I also ordered the tail tidy at the same time. The TailTidy took 8 weeks to arrive from the UK to Australia. The...

    Denali Sound Bomb Mini holder

Looks good. I want to do something similar; I like the bikes clean lines so hiding the horn’s problematic. Happy with the horns sound level and installation?

    New Tail Tidy

Yeah, I fitted one to my 2023 GT, I have a small plate, scrolling LED indicators, and yes, without the mud guard fitted anymore it does flick up some road grime you would expect. It does extend out a fair way though, 21cm from the stop light to the end of the plate light. It doesn’t see rain...

2023 R3 GT Throttle to Throttle Body out of sync

I left my bike with them and said don’t return it until you’re absolutely sure it’s fixed. Turns out the mating between the throttle body and inlet manifold was warped out of the factory around the 2 &3 cylinders. So it was sucking air and making it lean when throttling up. Triumph sent over a...

2023 R3 GT Throttle to Throttle Body out of sync

Thankfully the dealer can also feel the issue, and not just in my head. They can keep making changes under warranty until it’s fixed. I’m glad now I got the extended warranty too. Thanks for the advice though. I’m always happy to help steer them if necessary 🙂

2023 R3 GT Throttle to Throttle Body out of sync

Quick update. The issue returned shortly after. It’s been in the workshop for almost 3 weeks. Told them to not come back with ‘sync’d the throttle and throttle body’ for a third time. They removed the throttle body and said the gasket between the throttle body and inlet manifold is warped...

    Exhaust removal

OMG don’t they sound awesome. I have the all black ones on mine. They shake the house foundations every time I start’r up, and the flames coming out always get some attention 🔥
