So my friend Rich gave me a brand new roadster screen (just the screen, nothing metal on it), so I'm going to need all the fixings. Any idea where to go, exactly what I need and how much? Anyone here selling hardware?
Thanks,
Never ridden a Roadster, so nothing to add. As far as balancing throttle bodies, very easy to do with TuneECU and you can get the numbers exact (unlike the triumph tool) and very smooth now I do it myself - you can clearly hear the difference at idle
I'm surprised you didn't replace the TPS first (before map sensor - and crankshaft position sensor usually just need a clean) with the high idle problem.
When you do replace it remember not to torque that hex screw too much!
Well I was in Kansas City last June visiting a friend and will probably be back next year - not sure how far you are from there. Will holler at you nearer the time,
Jim has a standard 2005 r3, mine is a 2006 Classic - what's yours? I wonder if Triumph changed something in later models. It acts like it's going thru some sort of circuit
It appears there's nothing wrong after all. Tested it on my friend Jim's r3 and back brake did the same thing! Front brake is like an on/off switch. Slowly depress back brake and brake light fades in. Who'd a thunk it!
