    Failure during manufacturing...

There is evidence of poor quality control here, I'm mindful that all Triumph motorcycles are manufactured in Thailand with the associated challenge of supervision and adherence to QA standards for every single step of the process almost at arms length.

Why are people selling their Rockets?

Have been watching the 2500cc R3 market for a while now here in UK, its quite noticeable that there is an excess of supply, i.e. the number of bikes that are up for sale week-on-week is increasing. Its clear than many, especially in the 2019-2021 model years have unrealistic prices attached...

Squeaky Brakes on Rocket 3 R Storm – Anyone Else?

It is light braking that will have caused the issue in the 1st place - the pads have a glazed surface. One option is to go out have brake repeatedly and hard from say 50 mph, that usually fixes it.

    2025 Storm ECU questions...

This company reckons they have a tool that will reset that 'Service wrench symbol' Maintenance Mate – BMW & Triumph Service Interval Reset Tool

    Hill Hold feature

Happy to be corrected but I believe that Hill Hold, when activated, uses the ABS pump to pressurize (US spelling for you lot over there;)) the entire braking system. Would be easy enough to test if anyone has a bike lift that suspends the bike with the wheels free.

    2.5L Life Expectancy

Have started out on bikes back in the early 1970s I kind of grew up with the principle back then that by 20,000 miles what ever one was riding was 3 parts worn out! I'm fortunate to be able to work (very ) part time in the Triumph Factory Visitor Experience (FVE) facility at the Hinckley...

    Battery Draining Issue

And interesting thread. Viewed a GT yesterday, truly mint perfect, owner said the battery goes down after 3 days so he had to keep it hooked up to an Optimate, was searching to see if battery issues are a known issue...the battery did look on the piddly small side for a big lump. At the risk...

Early 2.5 with 30,000+ miles - anything to be aware of?

It is/was a thing - though, increasingly now, many manufacturers are holding the records digitally.

Early 2.5 with 30,000+ miles - anything to be aware of?

Have spoken to the dealer who says the service book was stamped annually since registration 5 years ago so seems worth the effort to go and take a look. I'm not averse to having maintenance tasks to do as I've missed having a bike in the garage for wrench activity :).
