FYI: D&D Touring Pipes + Crossover For sale in UT

These are mine. Found this thread while trying to figure what model years these fit. I don’t remember. Kinda weird finding a thread talking about yourself. Kevin you’re pretty close on what I paid New for these. I’m not sure if anyone in the states is making non-baffled crossover pipes yet...

    R3T derestricting

First off thankyou for all you do PowerTripp. I got a weee problem though. I'd did the tune a few weeks ago (my bike has D&D with the baffles, scorpion? crossover pipe, stock intake, stock header) and from my butt dyno, the power is GREAT! But, my idle will not drop below 1500 at idle, hot or...

    the standard darkside tire

I don't have too many miles on it yet, but i just picked up my bike (2011 R3T) Thursday from the shop. I went with the Yokohama Avid Envigor 205/60r16. The shop set it up with 50psi, cause it was their first C/T install. But after i lowered it to 34psi, i love it! With everything i had read, i...

    Happy Father's Day!!!

Yes a huge happy Father's Day to the R3 community. My two boys and I are taking 2 of our AMC Gremlins to a car show here in a few minutes.

    Horn Replacement

I just installed a WOLO Badboy last weekend in place if the stock horn. Ran the fused wire, mounted the relay next the horn. I tell ya, I peed a little bit the first time I hit the button.

    Movie review

Easy Rider??? I think History Channel's "Modern Marvels" did one about the history of motorcycles awhile back.

    R3T derestricting

There are speeds under 80? The Rush's are close to new, and setting me back $50, the touring mounts are very similar to the Rocket. I'm still working on that, but the idea I have shouldn't take to much modification. I'll definitely have to have some stainless cut and bent to connect the...

    R3T derestricting

Question for the gurus- I have a stock '11 Rocket touring, I decided that I want to improve performance but I don't want to sacrifice mileage too much. I ordered a Zodiac crossover pipe out of England and will be installing that as well as fitting 2 Rush performance Harley slip-ons. I am...

How do you park your Bike

With the winds being very strong on any given day here in eastern New Mexico, you have to be very careful parking a bike. A "calm day" is usually around 15-20mph winds. I've learned a good safe way to park, after knowing more then a few co-workers that have had thier bikes blow over. What you...

    The yamaha xs1100

I'm not surprised the beetle won. Growing up my dad had '79 XS1100 full dressed (faring, bags, etc). It's the bike that made me fall in love with motorcycles at a young age. I remember when I was about 8, my dad took off from a stop light into a full wheelie with me on the back (thank The Lord...

    But it's a dry heat..

Oh come on, we all know it rains 364 days out of the year up there. And on that 1 day, it's still drizzling. (I still got my web feet from growing up outside Eugene and Vancouver) ... I know what you mean humidity can be rough, I still miss the Great Northwest though

    But it's a dry heat..

My folks have been trying to convince me to move us and the kids down there. I'd much prefer Prescott or Flagstaff, even Showlow/Lakeside would be nice. But, just like Danny Boy said, gotta go where the $ is.

    But it's a dry heat..

I'm 6'3" and about 235 and the R3T is the best fit of any of the 6 touring style bikes I've owned. The close second was a '00 Yam RSV I just sold. I'm at the point that a touring was the direction I wanted to go, but get what makes you happy. As far as older models go I've read '08 and up had...
