    Ah thanks. Found the thread, which gives a lot more insight. The dealer is indeed installing the whole upgrade kit.

    It's the gearbox! Problem occures only in second gear as I became aware after some time (in first full power is not really possible while causing a wheely and in third gear I'm afraid for my driving license). The same problem happens with some earlier BMW models and my dealer recognised it...

    I have tried several mappings. Doesn't make any difference. However he is a bit lean up to 2500 and rich from 3000 until 4000 and then it's ok. Could not correct it nicely with tuneboy while we were running out of time.

    The engine stops on all three cilinders so I do not expect a problem with the coils. I am thinking about the fall switch, but I don't understand exactly what it switches off and whether it is temporarely. Does somebody know if the ECU logs fall switch transitions?
