    Retraction - I reviewed my records and see my master cylinder wasn't rebuilt, just that the mechanic recommended it. He bled the brake and cleaned the calipers and it has worked fine ever since. Which is probably why I thought I remembered he had done a rebuild.

    I average in the low 30s. The light goes on early, with about 2 gallons still in the tank.

    I had that happen on one of my other bikes, and it turned out to worn 4th gear dogs. A new gear fixed it.

    I low-sided, for no apparent reason, when I was running Cobra Chromes. So if grip is your priority, I wouldn't recommend them.

    I'm not a mechanic, but my understanding is there are two TP sensors, one towards the front of the bike, and one towards the back. I think I've read it's the front TPS that is usually the bad one, but it's an old bike so I replaced both.

    I had that problem with my '05, and replacing the TPSs (I replaced both) fixed it.
