    oil pump drive chain?

    prior to putting the clutch back together I noticed the chain and sprocket that I believe is for the oil pump ,,,the one visible behind the clutch basket. Is that tension on that chain supposed to be tight or a little loose. Mine is loose and has a little play in it , is that ok??????

    I have been noticing a more than normal fuel smell while riding and my milege is getting piss poor 19 - 22 it was up in the 30's plus before the shop had it for that long time replacing the tranny and all that ...any ideas and if so any solutions to get it back to semi normal its a 2006 Classic...

    I also took off the right hand heated grip and tested the wires and I had power all the way up into the sleave but still no heat I guess the insert in the grip is bad oh well that fix will have to wait for later
