Who bought their Rocket from new and why did you choose it?

A few reasons, but one of the main ones was a decent rear seat for the pillion. Low centre of gravity. Hight torque engine that makes carrying a pillion easier.

    2014 R3T issues?

I have a 2015 touring and have replaced the oil pressure sensor twice (oil light comes on randomly and over time stays on). Radiator got a pinhole leak (not stone damage). Just recently the transmission detent spring broke, (was able to ride home carefully by holding the shift lever up with my...

    New Touring Roadster

I have only used the screen on my touring a handful of times, prefer the ride without it. Admittedly here in Queensland the heat is more problematic than cold.

BREAKING NEWS:Harley Davidson closing a plant due to declining sales.

Or just as appropriate Ozymandias: I met a traveller from an antique land Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert... near them, on the sand, Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command, Tell that its sculptor well those...

    windshield shapes

I have the R3T and what has worked for me is a cheap perplex deflector that clips to the top. By having it further forward it splits the airflow. So instead of a single edge where the wind forms a ‘shock wave, it tends to break up that single wave. No more buffeting.

Speedometer reading 3 mph over. Any way to calibrate?

Not sure as motorcycle instruments are sealed. But even if you could, you might find that if you calibrate for say 60 to be accurate you will push the error to a different speed, eg you might find it then reads low at 40. But if it’s only out by 3, that is well within tolerance, way better than...

New mystery Triumph to be announced next week

Yep, inner tubes is a deal breaker with me also. Spokes are fine provided they are if the type that don’t need inner tubes. Death to the inner tube!

    Radiator leak

Just noticed a leak in my radiator, there appears to be a pin hole leak centre left. Very slow leak am getting spots of dried coolant on LHS boot, covers and engine. Can't see any stone damage.

    Strange oil light behavior

Yes that's how it starts out and then progressively stays on for longer intervals until just randomly turning on. FYI my new sensor looks like it's going to fail, as it also has just started to stay on longer upon start up.

This really is not my style but ......

The down side, apparently, is that surrounding traffic suddenly slows down, below the limit, causing you to weave to miss them.
