    Vibration

I've noticed a "vibration" under heavy throttle in lower gears, but just assumed it was traction control doing its job. I've not noticed it in upper gears, or in any gear under more sedate acceleration.

    Stalling

I got my bike back last week after they replaced the switchgear on the right handlebar. I rode the bike 3 times with no issues, so I'm cautiously optimistic that it's fixed. The service mgr said the lightest touch on the starter switch was killing the engine.

    Stalling

I thought of that. As I was riding to the shop and the bike was repeatedly stalling, I switched from sport to road and it made no difference.

    Stalling

Thank you, TURBO200R4, for the suggestions. I'm not well-versed on trouble with fuel injected bikes. I have 3 other bikes with fuel injection, but never a problem like this. Any issues caused the bikes to run poorly, but they would never just shut down under throttle. The Rocket runs great until...

    Stalling

I considered starting a new thread because I am experiencing stalling, but under FULL throttle as opposed to coming to a stop at idle. But, I saw that one of the last posts described stalling as someone was pulling away from a stop, so I will post here. The first couple times this happened, I...

Triumph GT windscreen on the R, worth it or buffeting?

I had to order it through my dealer.

Triumph GT windscreen on the R, worth it or buffeting?

I put the GT screen on my R. About half my commute is highway and it was just exhausting. The GT screen punches a big enough hole in the atmosphere to get the wind off my chest. (I'm 5'11" also) You still have wind on your shoulders and helmet, but it's just a minor annoyance compared to having...

Oil leak on the 2020 GT

It's sad that they are lying about it. That's where my leak was as well as several others on this forum. After mine was finally fixed, I asked for some compensation and they gave me $250 credit to use toward accessories. Don't let up on them! Good luck.

    2020 Rocket 3r problems

That was what they did with mine the FIRST time I took it in. So, they are apparently still starting with the least intensive repair and progressing to more intensive if necessary. I hope this repair does the trick for you!

    2020 Rocket 3r problems

Sadly, the oil leak has afflicted quite a few bikes, mine included. Search "2020 leak" on the forum and it will take you into the threads. Mine took 3 trips to the dealer, many weeks in the shop, removal of my engine and shipping of a case cover out of state to get some sort of treatment. Since...

    What made you buy her?

These pics point to a bolt. At least one forum member over-torqued this bolt and it solved his leak. My dealer said the origin of my leak was NOT the bolt. Per instructions from Triumph, my dealer removed my engine, took off the engine case cover and sent it to Tennessee to get some treatment...

    What made you buy her?

There are a number of 2020 Rocket owners experiencing this problem, some of them on this forum. If you do a search, I'm sure you will find it. It's an engine oil leak that manifests on the left side below the air intake and toward the front. I'll try to find a picture that locates the leak. I...

    What made you buy her?

The short answer is, I couldn't NOT buy it. I tried very hard to talk myself out of it. I wasn't even in the market to buy. My wife and I both ride, and between the two of us, we have 6 (roadworthy) bikes in the garage. I'm no Rockefeller.. Only one of the bikes was purchased new and that was...

Oil leak on the 2020 GT

Yes, Sir, I remember the suggestion. I wasn't brave enough to risk snapping off a bolt on my brand new bike. In hindsight, I should have given it a try.

Oil leak on the 2020 GT

I'm not at all happy about that. Part of me wants to demand a new bike if they have to go to such extremes on a unit with less than 1000 miles on it. On the other hand, I'm cognizant that once you put your butt on it and start it up, it's a used bike. Rest assured, I will scrutinize it...
