    yes you get more clearance and a lot lean angle with mid mount, move them to the highest position.

    triples sound like they are about to break when idling and low speeds; and it get worse the larger the engine. Ive been riding triples for a very long time and Im still not used to it. that “out of sync rattle” can be disturbing … stay above 3k and life will be great.

    i would redo the clutch, fluid alone will do little to fix it. if it’s slipping it will keep slipping and get worse overtime…
