Getting my bike Dyno'd today.

Since the last post in this thread I've swapped the rubber connectors, which were just rubber plumbing from the hardware store, for the bell mouths out of the stock plenum and have installed exhaust by Dennis Foran to replace TORs and Staintune crossover. Both very positive improvements. I've also cut a bear claw back to thin strip with rubber edging to fill the gap. These pics are added just be bring the thread up to date.

Cobba and Binnsy both been mentioned today .. timely reminder that perhaps we all need to 'do today what we can do today' ... a good thing to practise. We've all only got the time we have and we'd better make the most of it while we can. I've been to way too many funerals in the past few years not to have 'gotten the message'.

Keep me in mind if you do decide to do a production run, that would look sharp on an R3T as well. Maybe if you get to do several it would be cheaper too for shipping to the U.S.
Seems to me you Aussies are excellent welders!

So true, TC. One taken out of the blue and one after a long illness. Both very tough on loved ones and surely missed.

Not a lot I can say about the exhaust. 2 pipes, large inside diameter, excellent workmanship, great sound and performance. Must say I'd prefer them not to sweep up so much but I do like the symmetry. There's a bit of info on them and a sound clip in a thread started by rcket65ride. Website is www.foranexhausts.com.au.

Just dropped in to see how yawl going, finally found a bike to put the wind in my face as TC once put it..
Not an R3.. (I miss the R3 but no good here because of emission rules :() Oh! and you guys too lol..

Anyway its just a humble 1998 1500 Valkyrie F6 14500kms. The dealer is putting it thru' the test and fixing up a couple of small things ready in 2 weeks.. so it will get us out an about and be a handful in the narrow streets and in the traffic congestion around Tokyo city when we go.
