It is a special tire for running on the salt. It looks like it definitely has more in common with the dark side.

yeah he did but as Richard just said riding on the "Salt" is a lot different to the "Road" or should I say the "Real World Conditions" not some lame "scientific formula" which at the end of the day are some nerds opinions based on his opinion of the facts as he see's them

The world record for heavyweight cruisers, set at Bonneville last year by Jason DiSalvo, was not set on a car tire. All of the go fast guys have tried CTs out and found them to be inferior to OEM or purpose-built motorcycle racing tires, both on the salt and at the drag strip as well as on any street or road.
