Thanks!

I`m also very pleased with how the bike runs atm..and the "crickets" I got used to after 50 km's or so :). The bike now flies at WOT!!!

I still haven't found appropiate taillight ledstrips so I can cut the fender, but I haven't been looking very hard tho.. I'll probably first get a copy made in fibreglass, then cut that up, maybe make it so to fit the standard light, maybe a led-strip..I kinda like the original design though :)
I saw one in another topic on here but no one seems to sell these anymore..

I also purchased a Harley Sportster handlebar the other day, got it lengthened by about 4 inches per side (a sportster must be like riding a mountainbike I guess??!) and had it painted by a bodyshop I tow cars for sometimes. Looks very good I think, and now I stay under the windshield when I mount it for long rides..I am 6feet2 so could use it :D The wind used to just hit the top of my helmet, very anoying!

You will find that LED light strip with integrated directionals here, KetsMcLets: http://www.customdynamics.com/ The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful, as well.

MTB used to make a beautiful setup like that for my old Honda VTX 1800. Now, I believe they manufacture their Run, Turn, Brake LED light array only for Victory Motorcycles.

BTW, welcome to the site from New Jersey!

Rear fenders/mudguards are very expensive .. may want to look into a fibreglass one if you intend on chopping it up. New rear fender is $1,200 here in Australia.

There is one on eBay for $160 in Perth.

Thanks all!! Also thanks for the links, I now have all winter to figure out what I'm gonna do :) :).
ATM I'm leaning toward getting a fibreglass piece made with the cutout for a standard light integrated into it.

Also I am thinking, since there will be a mould made, I can maybe have a bunch made and sell them on, they must be able to be made cheaper than 530 US :banghead:.. But we'll see about all that when we get there..
I used to sell secondhand Nissan & driftparts to the locals here, and there are some skillfull people with the art of fibrewizardry here.. Well..I guess you have to when you destroy your fibreglass surrounded car every month or so . I'll see which of my old friends want to help
