The Progressive 440 rear shocks mounted just afer the first 1000 kms had increased the sensation that the front fork was very sloopy.

But with 24000 kms (15 000 miles) on the speedo the stock fork had became not good enough for such a bike.

So, I have ordered a set of Wilbers progressive fork springs in Germany a few weeks ago.

About 2 hours of labour to install the springs.
It's necessary to remove the fork tubes to do the job.
7.5 SAE Fork oil instead of the 5.0 with the stock springs.

Static test, pushing the bike on brake, shows a hudge difference than with the stock springs.

First test ride yesterday :

 Hudge difference !!!
The most spectacular change is in the bike handling under braking.
The fork is now very reactive and the cornering ability and the overall handling are very improved.
The bike seems to be lighter in those twisty roads we found here.

And the good surprise is that the bike is more confortable (I was afraid of a too much stiff fork with these springs) !

I'm very happy with all these improvement over the stock version and I need now to test the bike at high speed over 200 km/h.

Definitely the way to go if you have replaced your stock rear shocks for better ones ! :D
