Water in the Clutch Switch

I have a Decosse's keyless ignition fitted and have been having water ingress problems keeping the ignition live after rain or washing. I have tried dilectric grease and covering the holes but all to no avail. This weekend I have procured and fitted a momentary push button and fitted it to keyless module yellow wire that connects to the clutch wire.
Now when the keyfob is in range I switch kill switch to on and press the button and the bike comes to life. I then pull in the clutch and start as normal.
