I have a 2011 roadster and would like to do a lot of the modifications I see many of you have already done. However, if these mods are done within the two year warranty period, does anyone truly know what Triump's policy is on honoring any warranty work needed, on modified bikes.
My real concern is modifying the ECU Tables and Triumph possibly claiming the bike was producing more horsepower and torque or running to rich or lean than was intended, causing failure of parts and not covering the repair.

Any modification can cause the factory to look closely at a failure but they have to be able to prove the modification did directly cause or contribute towards a failure.
May be the warranty book will tell you a little more but most warranties cover failures caused by bad workmanship or material during manufacture and assembly.

A good read for you would be the "Magnuson Moss" act. Goggle it. This is the law that governs product/vehicle warranty in the USA. Then you will have the info you need.
