Yes, this is the list of parts which have been changed since 04. I'm not sure exactly when the first bikes rolled off the line with all of these done, but they will have been to new ones now.
Joe's bike ( not on the forum) after the catalogue of problems would'nt start recently ( yes yes headlight relay!! :lol the dealer chased it down to faulty crank angle sensor.. apparently a common fault???? not seen that posted as common here... Triumph have redesigned the part apparently, also a faulty map sensor was found.Anyone else needed these "upgrading"? Oh ya , & they thinking about replacing the wiring loom now!!!
Warf I am looking for another Rocket as I need a slower criuser then the Rocket I have. Anyway in my opinion I would not go any older then a 09 model as I have not heard of any with problems yet. I would also look for a later year 09 to insure the motor was built in 09 not 08. This is just my opinion and its just to avoid the tranny issues other then that I havn't had much trouble with my 06 Classic.
