Triumph confirmed as new Moto2 engine supplier

Someone care to explain to this neophyte "Moto2" ?
it is the Class that replaced the two stroke 250cc know as MotoGP 250 class they first used Honda 600cc 4 cylinder motors as a "control engine" which was not allowed to be modified but now the new Triumph motors will be the "control engine.
the MotoGP 125 two strokes were replace with 250 four strokes and call "Moto3"

It means big T is going to have their feet held to the fire on reliability and quality control. Honda has the best control motor record in all of racing history as the moto2 supplier.
