Probably a dumb question. I want to remove the nacelle and my tank bib to clean and polish the tank under the bib area. When I added the bib, of course I unplugged and removed the nacelle for that. I put it right back on afterwards.
Does it screw up the instrument cluster if it is disconnected from power for a longer period of time? I’m mainly referring to odometer mileage. Does it remember without being connected for a while?
Thanks Eric

The speedo will retain the milage .Tripometers and clock will not and take a few miles to correct themselves.

thanks for the answers but why would I have to disconnect the negative terminal first ?
