I had this Supertrapp muffler laying around. A spare for my V-rod. Wondering if it would slip right on my R3's headpipe. It didn't I had to reduce it. I had tuned the bike for cat delete, K&N, stock mufflers. Went for a test ride. Seat of the pants dyno said big improvement all around plus less noise at cruise speeds. I can't wait to try another tune and see if it can be improved.
Will have to try and fit a heat shield at pipe connection. The reducer is stainless and polishes out real nice but the heat quickly dulls it.
Wanting a Carpenter header as soon as my budget permits.
