My 05 that is stock, and only 3,200 miles, has developed, to me, a strange problem. Center cylinder isn't running right. After a few minutes run time, front and rear exhaust manifold temps are 285/290 center is 230. I have checked for loose coil wires. Bike has external fuel pump, set to 40 psi. Has run fine in the past. Clogged injector ??? never heard of it, but could be I guess. Maybe first check plugs on second cylinder. Maybe bump fuel pressure up to 70/80 or so, to see if it clears out the injector ??? I have an un-opened upgrade kit, so I think I'll use the new plugs, and plug wires for a start. But only 3,200 miles, plugs and wires should be fine, I'd think. Just kickin it out there for discussion. o_O

Try running some fuel injector cleaner such as Techron through the bike. At fifteen years old and only 3,200 miles it is probable that a injector(s) are gumming up. After that, check the sync on the TB's. You may also have vacuum lines that are cracked or collapsed. Check one thing at a time and move to the next. Good luck.

Speedy is the man, injectors that sit bad, when I had mine cleaned 2 were not right 1 wasn’t good, flow rate was off I didn’t notice any issues but if an injector is not flowing not good.

Plug wires would be good

Try running a half bottle of SEAFOAM through the gas tank a few times.. I've been running this through my 05 tank for 15 years it really cleans the injectors. I usually add it to the tank as a stabilizer every winter.
