I know this sounds nuts but I'm thinking since I'm probably going to ride this bike for a long while more, why don't I consider stocking up spares rather than paying all the extra overheads at the dealer?

So here's the question, what should I stock up on?

Maybe buy a cheap non running bike for parts. But hard to say as I don't know what the Rocket world is like in Singapore as far as part prices, availability and used bikes not running for parts. I believe here the manufacturers have to have parts for ten years for cars, probably the same for bikes, if not someone please correct me.

At least one spare pair of tires, so you'll have them when the ones you are using are bald, as they will be quickly if you ride at all.

I have the following as new parts and many more used parts.
Primary TPS
Water Pump
All Filters
Rear Tyre
All Control Cables
Relays (Most)
Detent Spring and Gasket
Value Cover Gasket
Rectifier

I will most likely not be waiting for parts to get it going again if it stops - Hopefully
Cost about $1,200 AUD I think
