Anybody fitted a steering damper to a 2.5 rocket? A couple of weeks ago I was casually cruising through a rural area with cruse control on and only my left hand lightly on the grip. Went through a rough patch on the road in an intersection and got a very surprising steering wobble for a second or so. Nothing major, but definitely woke me up.

I had the same thought the other day while ripping through some twisties. Definitely could benefit from a stabilizer.

These are typically found on smaller bikes with lighter front ends. Here is one for the older Rockets.

The issues are getting the right size for the bike and fitment.

I did a radial steering damper for my '14. @Claviger came up with a great solution, in the same thread.
I don't know if this is any help for the new models, though.

Thanks i was looking for this thread and could not find it, till boom, thanks

Ill look into that as well but im gonna button this up, just waiting on shindy tube bracket and installing a nut rivet for body bracket and hope to have this installed, i was stumped until i glared realized saw where the one in Nevilles picture was attached, i was laser focused on bottom yoke drilling like claviger did but got the touring attaching to tube is the way to get the clearance for lock to lock. No tube covers but its chrome and i run a batwing and when i take it off its for business so looks are ok

Not sure there's a big market for them for this bike given the types of roads we generally would ride. Do you ride on a lot of bad roads at times?

Never had anything even close to wobbles yet. All the best with your search brother. Keep us updated.
