Starter swap with Toyota

Anyone know if you can swap out starter motor for a Toyota/Lexus,on 2014 Touring? If so what would be the Toyota/Lexus part # that would fit.

You can, you may want to read some threads on that. If you cant find i will help. Its more that just swapping starters, the gear needs to be changed, you need the triumph starter repair kit off ebay, parts in that kit you need. Look up starter replacement in search box, starter upgrade stuff like that, massive amounts of info that will assist in this change.

Went to Inexpensive Starter Replaceme shows no gear change needed,still need a part number for the Toyota starter that will swap

looks like 17610 fits a 1999 Toyota Solara 2.2L with 5SFE motor.
The correct part number is 280-0174 from eBay, Advance auto, etc in USA. From a 1999 Toyota Solara 2.2L with 5SFE motor. Details are in post #25 from Taildragger.

U use the nose from r3 starter and put it on the toy starter.
