Hi all i am looking for a pair of standard front springs for my r3r i find my progressive springs too stiff i want to go back to standard

WHAT?!?!
The progressive become stiffer as they are compressed.
Should not be too much "normal riding" difference.
What did you use for fork oil?

The problem with R3 forks is no so much the springs (which are soft) as the near total lack of damping. Stiffer springs just make the ****ty damping more obvious.
Stiffer oil will make the transition into the "bottoming cone" more obvious too. After 6 years I can't take it any more - Maxton Cartridges ordered.

Hey @barbagris I have been reading about these Maxton cartridges just the other day. Whats the process for ordering ones that are suited to your weight and riding style? How much do they cost?

They are PAINFULLY slow with e-mail.

All are made to order so they will want your "kitted out" weight plus want to know riding style. At the mo' 2-3 weeks lead time.

If you search for them on Google maps you'll see there are in a BIG SHED amongst fields.

I have ordered the cheaper version as I have some clearance issues with my custom bars. I really did want the externally adjustable - dammit.
