It might look neat but there maybe handling issues .I rode my mates Harley with a springer front end and it seemed to be a bit rigid through the twisties while he rode my rocket .He couldn't blieve how quickly it got to 100 mph .I wasn't surprised with his comment.
I saw a rider back in the sixties get killed with a springer front end. He hit a patch of uneven pavement and as the old timers call it went into the "pogo stick effect". If i'm not mistaken that's the main reason a lot companies stopped using them awhile ago. Maybe they've revamped them today i still see a few Harleys with them.
