Speed Shifting Transmission

Hi All,

New to the R3R, was wondering about the type of transmission makeup and gears cuts. Basically interested in knowing if speed shifting or shifting without clutch will damage the trans or not.

Hmmm - take a walk around the site and you'll see that your fears are well founded. DON'T CRASH THE BOX.

I would not take the chance you could mess the box up before you get it set right or if you doing it manually you will make a mistake we are only human.

It's like most other motorcycle trans, straightcut gears that will be damaged when you mess up the shifts.

Clutchless shifting is fine, until you miss one, then you bend something.

If your talking about flat shifting at full throttle using a quickshifter the rocket does it just fine.

YES its the MISSED shifts that cause the damage
