SOLD

After much soul searching I have decided to sell my D&D exhaust. This is for the Touring. Has a few thousand miles on the clock and not perfect, but certainly look and sound great when mounted on the bike. Pictures below are them mounted on my 2013 Touring. They do have a removable baffle so you can glass pack them to subdue the rumble, though I never did. They are straight through like the TORs. And a direct bolt onto the stock or aftermarket cross over pipe. I enjoyed the performance boost (some reported with the right tune and K&N filter these get you 160+ in both HP and torque). I never dyno’d my bike, but running these with the RamAir I had quite the power boost, so much so I need to replace my clutch with a high performance one; though that was a combo of power and my bad habits.

Anyway, asking $425 plus shipping. For estimating, the shipping box with pipes and packing material weighs in at 40 pounds and measures 50” x 18” x 13”.

still available....?...I'm looking for new pipes for my '09 R3T....

Hi Jay,
do you still have the D & Ds? I'm interested, I also have a 2013 rocket 3T. Why did you decide to take them off? What part of VA are you in? I'm not far from VA in Kernersville, NC, love to ride in VA & West VA.

@mcmckoy I am in Northern VA just outside DC. Took them off so my wife will keep riding with me. She was not a fan of the rumble and we like to tour so I went back to the OEMs. I haven't glass packed or tried any other baffling, but then again you don't put on the D&D's to restrict them. They offered excellent performance increase and look great on the bike.

And yes, they are still available.

I haven't been able to get my wife on the back of Mr.T yet, LOL. How long did you take to put them on the bike? Did you retune the bike after changing them?

The pipes are super easy to swap out, less than an hour. And that is because I like to take my time. I had the bike tuned and putting out 160ish HP and the torque was right around 160 ft-lbs. Used a PCV for the tuning though. I think if you use one of the R3T derestricted tune from the site here (assuming you also run a RamAir and cross-over) you should get close to the same. You can search among the tunes for D&D with RamAir tune. Even without a cross-over you should still get close, but not full performance. I wanted to run two tables like I had on my sport touring bike so I have the PCV.
