Seat configuration question

I’m about to buy a comfort seat with backrest of a guy who had it fitted to his 2014 Roadster. It’s a one piece jobber with a backrest that can be taken on and off. Question is will it fit my 2016 Roadster (which has a two piece seat) I need some wisdom????
