I just got my scorpion battery but the post are reversed. I got the YTX20HL-BS. thats what the web site showed. Did you have to change the battery cables???

Nope.
Slipped right in and hooked right up.
Just bought the wife a harley battery the other day,
cause after 7 years her stock one finally gave up the ghost.
Hers is a YTX20L-BS.

I don't know, Anthony. Mine had everything line up perfectly. The + side goes on the right side and the posts are towards the rear of the bike.

you have pics?

Just so I know - are folks ordering the YTX20HL which has 18 amps and 310 CCA or the YTX20DHL which has 20 amps and 320 CCA. The DHL is labelled as a Harley battery but it is the one that has been referenced as the battery to buy in previous posts.

Just looked at a pic of the Scorpion battery online again and looks like the posts are the same as the stock Yuasa battery - positive to right side and negative to left side facing rear of bike.

Harley dealer told me when I said I wanted the DHL,
that they don't make that one anymore and now its the L.
All I know is my old one I bought 2 or three years ago was the "D"
but I set the wifes on the counter and the new one matched up to it perfectly.
Same exact size, width, height, length, and post layout.
So I got it, bought it, brought it home, charged it up, slipped it in and off we rode..
A perfect fit....oh yea, forgot to mention.
The "D" was/is a harley battery for sure, but the one I got the wife didn't have the harley sticker on it,
it was a Yuasa battery with the YTX-20L-BS imprinted into it as well.
