This morning I bought my first Triumph since the late 60s....
It's a 2009 Rocket III Tourer...pretty much bare bones BUT it only has 400 + miles it was sold a couple of weeks ago as an 09 leftover to a guy who was going to trike it.
The salesman said he also talked to the trike company who said "No problem". Well after the guy bought the bike he brought it down to the trike place and they said something like..."I should have checked more closely. The tourer has a different frame and we can't trike it".
I am looking forward to riding it this weekend. The handling and low end torque remind me of my Valkyrie Tourer,,,,which up to now has been my favorite bike of all time.
That's my story...and I'm sticking to it.
