We have a local lady who cleaned up at the drag strip last year on her R3, next year may be even better because she will have her nitrous worked out. :)

It's largely true though with very true exceptions. While I know that somewhere a woman rides a Rocket, it is very uncommon. Conversely, many women ride Harleys and sport bikes. My favorite moto journalist is Jamie Elvidge. She is one heck of a rider and her ride reports are the best. Plus, well, she's a real pretty gal.

    ^^^

I think a lot of women ride HD for the same reason short legged men do, a narrow engine and short distance from the seat to the ground. They have been told that is what they should ride, so they do. Plus HD does actual marketing to sell their bikes. I have seen many more women on HDs vs sport bikes vs Rocket.

I've seen videos of her. She is definitely a force to be reckoned with.

My fav Female Rocket rider is married to Ray and called "Wilson", aka @smokit2.
Christina, aka @Tbirdgirl, rides the heck outta her big Roadster, recently stopping by my place on her solo ride from Ogden, UT to Vancouver, BC for a school reunion.
A very good rider, she be, and one with gusto!
