johnmwking, I just got back from my first long ride with the rocket. Before leaving I temporarily installed older highway pegs from my other bike to the rivco engine guard.
1- I used the pegs to stretch 3 times in 6 days after over an hour of continuous riding. Just to stretch a few seconds that's all.
2- The pegs have to be too high on the rocket to clear the brake pedal and gear shifter. This setup doesn't feel comfortable.
3- With 35" inseam, If I don't feel the need for highway pegs, you probably won't.
My 2 cents
