Where did you get that hp figures from?
In fact it is expensive.
But they have got cats inside and ec approval.
So you don´t get in trouble with authorities over here.
The dyno graph above is made with stock airbox.
Red is stock with ecu restrictions.
Blue is stock without restrictions and a good map.
So with just Remus and cat delete I think it is a good result.
If you have very strict regulations over there then you have to do what you have to do in order to gain horsepower/torque. Over here in the states in region I live in we have no regulations. For the price of the Remus slip ons I can have a header and one muffler without CAT. In reality that's what I have. I think that's what WyldCFH was trying to say in a round about way.
Sorry, I didn´t see the dyno on their hp at first.
4hp is really not much of a gain.
But I think, that is about what you get with just a slip on exhaust on a stock bike.
You have no idea.
Here, thank god, it's only the test centres that really worry - unless you run open stacks or something.
I just have to dedicate a couple of days every two years to return the beast close to stock / take MoT test / reapply all goodies.
My test centre is actually disposed to turn a blind eye to most things - but they have to record exhaust emissions or the **** system won't print the PASS form.
