Removing Triumph logos from fuel tank

I’m beginning to strip the bike for a major paint/mod job and want to know if there’s an easy to get the Triumph logos off the gas tank. I’ve looked fully through the service manual and there’s no picture of them anywhere I could find. I’m thinking they’re stick on and some heat might soften the adhesive for removal, but would appreciate input from anyone who’s done it. TIA

If they are stick on, which I believe they are a little heat and a length of dental floss to remove them should work fine. I have removed auto stick ons that way several times.

They are attached to small holes in the tank. I filed them with solder tin after sandblaster.

peal them off using a plastic ruler or putty applicator.

Thanks for all the input. I put a little heat on with a heat gun and they came off easy with a plastic putty knife. The adhesive wasn’t that strong. EZ-PZ!

in 2012 there was two holes each side holding the badge

No holes. Gord emailed pics to me. We are good friends and touring buddies. He's pulling his 08 apart to get the tank and sheet metal custom painted.
